I have been involved in the IT industry for more than 35 years, with a broad background in IT operations, IT management and product innovation and development. I was project team lead in the original BITE (Business & IT Excellence) process modeling of ITIL, an ITIL V2 author and member of the ITIL V3 advisory group.

Currently I am co-owner of GamingWorks, a company that develops and deploys a a range of business simulations focusing on IT Service management, Project management, Business & IT alignment and DevOps. These simulations are offered through our ever expanding global network of partner organizations. I was also co-author and developer of the ABC of ICT products and publications.

I travel the world speaking at international ITSM best practice conferences and events and deliver simulation workshops to organizations adopting best practices and embarking upon transformational initiatives. I also capture and share in Industry blogs both success and fail factors relating to organizational change.

Both myself and Jan Schilt from GamingWorks want to enhance existing training and education programs to include more experiential learning, ‚learning-by-doing’ to help people translate theory into practice and gain additional value from their training investments. More than 300 partner organizations world-wide make use of the GamingWorks business simulations to support their training or consulting products and services.
