How to Transform an IT Team for Effective Cooperation with Internal Business?
At Roche Global IT Solutions, I lead a team of over 200 IT specialists and manage an annual budget of ~30 million PLN. We maintain systems, implement new applications and produce technological innovations for internal business. With such a scale, the expectations are high and the quality of work must reach a different dimension.
To achieve this, I simplified the management model by flattening the internal structure, limited number of vendors, and entrusted others with more responsibility. Probably an even more important change was the assignment of roles to direct contact with the internal client - for this, I also created the Partnership Model in 5 key areas: management, business, technical, communication and advisory.
